Butterflies ~ beautiful and gentle creatures that appear to float on the wind

A butterfly does not start its life as a butterfly; it starts as a caterpillar, then goes through a state of metamorphosis (change) as a chrysalis before emerging as a butterfly.

Although humans do not change their basic form, their body does grow and mature, going through many changes over the years.

Human years 0 – 25 are the caterpillar years of learning and growing; 25 – 50 are the chrysalis years of absorbing and maturing ; 50+ are the butterfly years, when you are more confident and relaxed in your own awareness of yourself.

Whatever age you are, you are very special. You will always continue to learn and your understanding of life and what goes on around you will expand.

Judge not on age, many words of wisdom come from the mouth of babes; some children have wisdom beyond their years.

Also listen to your elders, they have the experience of living; their wisdom comes from the experiences they have had. They were children once, they struggled through teenage years and restrictions put on them by their parents and elders. They have lived through good times and bad times.

Yes we know times have changed, there are always changes but listening to the experiences of parents and grandparents can really help you through some of the more trying experiences of growing up.

It is also important for parents and grandparents to share their experiences and then let the younger generation learn from their own mistakes and experiences ~ each should learn to listen to the other.

Also learn to listen to your heart; there are times when your head can be too cautious and hold you back; there are other times when in your heart you know you should say NO but your head allows other people’s judgement to dictate how you act and what you do.

Be true to your heart, trust and believe in yourself, in your gut feelings. You are Very Special.

Love, Light & Laughter
