You are trying to be too many things to too many people, it is time to slow down and take a break.

STOP. Yes you the person who is reading this right now.

When was the last time you sat still and enjoyed listening to some music or watched your favourite program or even enjoyed sitting in the garden without anyone disturbing you? That’s right it’s called “Me Time”.

When was the last time you did something you chose, rather than just going along with everyone else?

Your mind and body are crying out for a break, some down time.

Let your mind switch off from all the demands of your everyday life; let family and friends take care of you for a while or at least ask them to give you some time off.

The more you do for others the less they do for themselves and the less time you have for you.

Be kind to you ALL, use a bit of Tough Love and learn to say “NO” once in a while, and be strict with yourself.

The greater the love and respect you have for yourself, the truer the love you have for others becomes.

You will instinctively know when to say YES because it is of true benefit and when to say NO because Yes would actually be detrimental to all involved.

When you are trying to be all things to all people, you end up running around in circles achieving very little.

You become tired, irritable and frustrated. You are one person not many. A very Special Person but still only one

In the words of the song “Stop, Look, Listen to Your Heart hear what it’s saying”

Next time someone asks you for something or for your help STOP before you answer.

Rather than do it for them can you help them to do it, so that they don’t need to ask you again?

“It’s quicker if I do it, I know what I’m doing” we hear you say.

As a one off maybe but not if you are always being asked

Help others to help themselves, so that you can all get on with your own lives.

Sit back and relax, let your mind find an order to those things you wish to do and listen to your Heart.
