A Message from Copitona
The Dragon that Guards over the Earth Crystal Iron Pyrite
All that glitters is not gold but the value in something has nothing to do with its financial worth.
When was the last time you had fun with family and friends, creating memories beyond value, for very little cost?
When was the last time your heart sang and you hadn’t spent any money?
When was the last time you enjoyed a hug or a cuddle?
When was the last time you let your inner child out to play?
Life is not about what you own; it is not about possessions and how much you spent on them.
Life is about loving, living, experiencing, exploring, growing.
The experiences you have are the memories you create for yourself, your family, your friends.
Your love and your time are the most valuable things you possess and you are free to give them away as you choose.
From the words of an old Beatles song “Money can’t buy you love” and truthfully money can’t buy you anything truly worth having.
Love and time freely given are beyond value.
You have a lovely story about a classroom of children who were asked to write down the Seven Wonders of the World.
One child after much deliberation shared:
- To See
- To Hear
- To Touch
- To Taste
- To Feel
- To Laugh
- To Love
Can you put a monetary value on any of these?
What value would you put on:
- Being able to see your children grow up, the plants and trees, the hills and valleys, the sea, lakes, rivers and streams.
- Being able to hear music and song, laughter and happiness, the wind rustling in the trees, the babbling of a brook.
- Being able to touch the face of a loved one, stroke a cat, a dog, a horse.
- Taste your favourite meal, savour the flavours of sweet and spicy
- Feel the sand between your toes, waves lap over your feet, the warmth of the sun, the kiss of the rain, textures, the earth beneath your feet.
- Being able to laugh at jokes, the antics of children and animals, the company of friends and family when playing and having fun
- Being able to love, sharing your love with the people and nature that surround you. Trusting the guidance of the love within your heart for yourself and all that live on your beautiful Planet Earth
None of these things are for sale, they are given to you with love and free, because their value is beyond measure.
Value yourself, your time, your love, your gifts. Value the time, love and gifts of others.
Share and allow others to share with you.
Now think about all the things you own, all those inanimate objects that you put so much stock in owning.
How would you feel if they were all taken away from you?
Be honest with your answer.
Would you be devastated or are they just things?
If you would be devastated then they own you. If they are just things, then you own them.
It is time to start thinking about priorities in your life ~ people and the planet or things?
It is your choice.
