Open your Eyes and let them See

Open your Ears and let them Hear

Open your Heart and let it Feel

Become aware of all your senses.

Be still in nature.

Sit and become totally aware of your surroundings.

What do you see? As your eyes take it all in, what do you become aware of never having noticed before?

What do you hear? As you sit or stand and become attuned to all the different sounds, which ones are new to you?

Awaken your senses, what can you smell? Has it rained, are there flowers in bloom, is there freshly mown grass or hay?

Feel your senses stirring and coming back to life, as they once were, more fully experiencing the world around you.

It is important to take care of your body, of its organs, bones and blood.

Enjoy your food and drink but ensure you have a balanced intake of water to hydrate you.

Dehydration can be the biggest cause of headaches and can affect your ability to think straight.

Ensure you are getting a balanced intake of vitamins and minerals on a daily basis; such as calcium for your bones, vitamins C & D for your immune system and minerals such as potassium.

Deficiencies can seriously affect your health and well being.

A little of what you fancy does you no harm but overdoing anything is bad for you – you can drown from drinking too much water. You can poison your system with too much sugar causing conditions such as diabetes.

Open your mind, tantalise your taste buds by experiencing new flavours, new foods.

Try juicing, try eating raw, try growing your own. Try different combinations, get creative with your food, add fresh herbs and spices, nuts and seeds.

Have you ever tried raw chocolate?

Enjoy the flavours and aromas of cooking.

Life is all about the experiences and you can only fully appreciate them when all your senses are fully functioning and when your body is fit and healthy.

Be kind to you, look after yourself, you are very special.

Sleep and relaxation are also important.

Have you ever experienced a meditation, yoga, a massage? Allow yourself “me time” to unwind.

Do you do any form of regular exercise? Going for a walk every day, a run, Pilates, Zumba; there is so much for you to choose from.

Do you exercise your mind? Do you read or do puzzles of any sort?

Keeping your mind active and learning, is as important as turning it off at night when you sleep.

Don’t forget to have fun; make your life fun, enjoy what you do, enjoy being with the people you share your time with.

Laugh a lot, play a lot; allow the child within to teach you how to play again if you have forgotten.

You are never too old.

Love yourself as much as you are loved by all of us in the Mythical & Spirit worlds.

You are Special

Love, Laughter & Encouragement
