Being honest and truthful, learning to say No, doesn’t mean you no longer love others. It means your love for yourself and them has grown in to true love, a love that is caring enough to say No.

The easiest option isn’t always the “right” option.

In the long run saying No and encouraging people to stand on their own two feet, can be the kindest and most loving thing that you can do for both them and you.

You always have a choice, sometimes more than 2 choices. Doing nothing is making a choice.

Have you got something going on in your life at the moment?

Are you struggling to know which way to turn?

STOP, take time out. You may wish to sit with pen and paper or go for a quiet walk or find someone you trust who will listen as you talk it through with yourself.

By all means ask suggestions from others but remember they are just that “suggestions”.

If someone came to you with a similar situation, what suggestions would you make to them?

Write these down, all of them.

Take them one at a time, how does each make you FEEL?

Yes listen to your FEELINGS.

Listen to your HEART.

Let go of the voice in your head.

Which of the thoughts, ideas, suggestions on how to proceed FEELS right for you?

Still your mind and then ask it to support your decision.

Be strong and loving as you make your choice known.

Honour yourself and in doing so you are honouring those around you.

If the others involved don’t like your decision, providing you are not deliberately hurting them, it is their problem not yours.

You are here to live your life, to have your own experiences and there will be times when you are told No by others.

You are not here to live other peoples’ lives for them and you are not here to live your life through others.

Respect each person’s choices and expect that same respect back from others.

Never worry about making a mistake; there is no such thing as a mistake, it is just another step in your journey, a fork in the road that leads down a new path as you learn and move on from it.

You are Beautiful and Special, made from Love and it is OK to Love yourself, to be true to yourself, to listen to your Heart and follow the Feelings that bring you greatest joy and happiness.
