You are All unique
Made up from many from different parts, not just from the genes from your parents but also from the experiences you have had and how they have affected you.
Your understanding and perceptions come from every experience you have, whether fully experienced, witnessed, heard, whatever that might be.
The feelings they have engendered within you, shape you.
Some of the experiences may teach you, how not to be, some may make you think you have to be a certain way, others will be oh yes, this is who I wish to be.
But who are you?
When you strip away everything you have learnt and everything everybody has ever told you about yourself and how to be, What is left?
You don’t have to undo everything, there may be aspects of yourself, as you are today, you think, I like that, it feels comfortable, that is who I feel I am.
But if you are only being a certain way to keep others happy, that is not who you are.
You are just pretending so you don’t lose people in your life. But are they really to right people to have in your life?
When you are true to you, you learn to say No, to the things that don’t resonate or feel comfortable with you and say Yes, to the things that absolutely “Oh Yes please, I really would like to do that”, rather than letting your monkey/ego mind get in the way and say “oh but you can’t do this because of this, because of that, because of the other”.
It doesn’t matter what others think of you, because in the majority of cases they aren’t, they’ve got far too much going on in their own lives. It is what you think about and feel about yourself.
Be you, as the saying goes “Be you, everyone else is taken” (Oscar Wilde) and there is another one you have “You were born an original, don’t die a copy” (John Mason).
You are here to be you. Yes, you have some unlearning to do, because as children we have to rely on our parents, our grandparents, our teachers, our religious people, all those in our lives, who at a young age shape our life.
We will like some of those aspects of ourself but there will also be those we are very uncomfortable with and it is time to let go of, to release and grow beyond.
You are a beautiful being of light in your own unique way. Yes, you have the genes of both your parents and their parents and the generations going back but their experiences, how they have behaved, what they have said, don’t have to become who you are.
There are too many situations you have witnessed in life, that it is for you to release and let go and say, “No, that is not me” and you can change the inherited behaviours through generations.
It can all start with you.
Are you ready willing and able to dive deeply into who you really are, to find that unique individual buried under everything everyone else has ever told you to be?
Take your courage in your hands and your life will change for the better. It may also mean there will be people who will exit your life and they will be making way for those waiting to come into it.
Be True to You
Namaste Sweet Soul
