There is so much more to your life than the experiences you have had and the things that you have learnt from those experiences.

There is a greater depth and your understanding and perception may not be somebody else’s.

Your understanding of words, they may mean one thing to you but they will mean something else to others.

Open your heart, open your mind – misunderstandings occur because what one person means isn’t necessarily what another hears because of your different experiences, understandings and perceptions.

When you listen with your heart and see with your third eye and feel with your Solar Plexus, the core of your being, your gut, then you will truly open to the fact that whether you are looking at a 6 and somebody thinks they are looking at a 9, you are both looking at the same thing from a different perspective.

You are both right and you are both wrong and it is not about wrong and right, it is about learning to understand and be understood.

It is not down to one person to be open in a conversation; it is down to all those involved.

If you are in any slightest bit of doubt as to the meaning of what somebody has said, ask.

Don’t ask did you mean what you said because 99.999% of the time, the answer to that will be Yes because they did mean what they said but there is a chance they didn’t mean what you heard.

So, ask, did you mean what I heard and rephrase what they said to try and get across your meaning, that you understood.

So many arguments, misunderstandings could be prevented if we ask.

It isn’t about challenging, it is about asking to make… to understand, to be clear about what you are hearing.

Many people can lose family and friends, from a simple misunderstanding that could have been prevented. With open hearts and open minds and a simple question being asked.

I may only have one eye but I see all, I don’t have to hear, listen, feel. I see the hurt and the pain that can be caused by misunderstandings.

You are all special beings of light and love, if you have done all you can to understand another and they choose to continue within misunderstanding, that is their choice.

And the same goes for you, if you choose to stay in misunderstanding, that is your choice.

Be the amazing being of light and love that you are and open to the fact that sometimes what one person says isn’t, and mean, isn’t what you hear. You r meaning and their meaning can be poles apart.
