What is failure?

Does it even exist?

Why would I say that? Because do you ever really fail, or is it just a stepping stone, from which you learn more and you can move forward from a point of where you were before you took that step?

Some say “if you fall down, rollover and look at the stars”, then you can look at something from a different perspective, a different angle, a different understanding.

So it is only failure if you fail to learn from it, to move forward from it, to grow from it and to use it as a stepping stone forward in your life.

You cannot fail unless you give up.

So persevere, learn from what has happened.

Do not judge yourself and do not listen to other people’s judgement of you.

You haven’t made a mistake, you made the best judgement call you could with the information you had at the time.

You took action, which is so much more than some will do, and it had an outcome. That outcome may not have been the desired outcome but who is to say it was the wrong outcome, maybe it was exactly the right outcome to support you to learn a bit more, to grow a bit more, to understand a bit more.

After all every journey is one step at a time, whether that is your life’s journey or your healing journey, they take time, not everything happens at once (although I get the feeling some of you think it does J because I am sure there are times when you feel overloaded).

But you can still only make the best decision with the information you have and move forward with it.

If there is something you would like to do, put the basics into place, then go for it, don’t try and put everything in place because you will never do it if it is always “oh but I need to do this, oh and I need to do that”.

By starting you learn and you can find it comes out much better than a whole mass of preparation which just holds you back.

Have some preparation but do it from the place of intention for the highest good and it will come out as it is meant to, when it is meant to.
