Just as each metal, mineral, crystal, has its own specific properties that make it unique, so do you.

The family you’re born into, the country you’re born into, the religion you’re born into, the experiences that you have, the things you witness. How you perceive them and understand them.

How each of these things makes you a unique being, different from each and everyone else. They are the things that make up the properties that are you.

However you have the ability to adjust those properties.

As you grow older and as you learn to understand the full extent, the full facts of the experiences you have had, of the things you have been taught, of what you have been told about yourself, you can unpick all of that, to find the true you beneath.

There will be aspects you are comfortable with and like, there will be aspects you are uncomfortable with and don’t like.

You have a choice, stay as others have encouraged you to be or unpick everything and find the you beneath, who you are, how you choose to show up.

Find the caring, the thoughtfulness and the love, that resides deep within you. First and foremost find those things for yourself.

It isn’t about forgiving yourself for not knowing who you were, who you are, it is about gratitude for the fact you have woken up to finding yourself.

Your uniqueness is a gift to your world. Find who you are, be true to who you are and your life will change and a lot of things within your life and a lot of people within your life will change.

Accept and adjust to the changes, to the growth.

As you grow, there will be those you leave behind.

Be who you are always and love yourself for who you are.
