Families
Families have many generations and can have a lot of people.
Children. Brothers and Sisters
Parents, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Great Grandparents.
Some of you may even have met your Great Grandparents as a very young child.
Family is important, they are your grounding in life.
But as you grow, realise that you have choices. Just because of your teachings at school and at home, it doesn’t mean that you have to believe and act in that way.
Be true to who you are.
Learn, unlearn, learn more, unlearn more.
Feel your way through your life, listen to your heart.
You will always love your family, even if you don’t like them and yes, it is possible to love without liking, it isn’t possible to like without loving.
What do you feel is Love?
Love is many things on many levels, in many different ways.
The love of siblings is different to the love of parents, is different to the love of grandparents, is different again to the love of friends and the love of partners.
Love isn’t just one thing, like a diamond it has very many facets.
All love should be pure love, non-judgemental love and the greatest love you should have is the love of self.
When you truly love you, you can bring a much greater depth of love to others.
Love your family, be a part of your family and if it has to be this way, be apart from your family.
Loving yourself means being true to yourself and not compromising yourself.
Family is a gift, friends are a gift, know that you are a gift to all of them and to many others whose lives you touch and you have no idea of the gift you bring to them.
Smile, be happy, share that gift of your smile.
You are a beautiful Soul and you are a part of a much bigger family, the family that makes up the Universe, that makes up the whole, the all, the individual.
Love yourself as a part of that whole.
Namaste
