We are Guides & Guardians; we just have a different way of getting your attention.

When was the last time you had a technical glitch with your computer or printer? That was us trying to get your attention.

Sometimes you need to slow down, take a break, get some fresh air, open to the downloads available to you only when you are not in front of your computer or TV.

Make time daily to go out and get some fresh air, yes even when it is raining.

Leave your mobile at home, people can leave a message.

Give yourself gadget free time every day.

Open your eyes to nature’s beauty, the trees as they come into leaf or as they change colour in the autumn. The flowers as they come into bloom, splashing colour everywhere.

Watch the birds as they gather moss and twigs for their nests. Sit with your back against a tree, feel the energy, the support and strength as you rest there.

Hear the songs of the birds the buzzing of the insects, the wind as it rustles the leaves.

Smell the rain, the fresh cut grass, the flowers.

Tune in to your senses; focus on your surroundings and the gifts of Mother Nature, for at least 20 minutes a day, allowing yourself to be re-energised.

Open to your intuition, not all the answers you are seeking can be found on a computer. The most important answers are to be found in your Heart. Take time to listen.

There is so much that is good about modern technology, the way it enables you to connect with others all around the world as if you are in the same room.

Helping you to meet and communicate with people you may otherwise never have met.

It helps you to share, to find information to support you and enables you to support others and be supported.

However don’t forget to live your life, to get out and about and have real experiences, rather than virtual ones.

Feeling is living; a computer can’t give you the sensations of sand between your toes, waves lapping over your feet, the wind in your hair, the warmth of the sun on your skin, rain as it falls on your face.

Holding a kitten or puppy, meeting a wolf, feeling the spray of waves as they crash on the shore. The smell of food as it is cooking, the taste as you savour your favourite meal.

There is so much a computer, TV, electronic game can’t give you, so remember everything in moderation; there can be too much of a good thing.

Give yourself permission to have an hour a day, a day a month and a week a year with no gadgets, no electronic devices.

In those times spend it in nature, with family and friends; talk, play, have fun, bring back the laughter and love, the smiles, the joy of creating wonderful experiences and memories together.

Computers are wonderful things and “things” is the operative word here; it is an inanimate object.

You are a living, breathing, very Special Being, living with and among other living, breathing, very Special Beings.

Computers can’t give you a hug when you need it, people and animals can.

Hugs and Bright Blessings
