The Gremlins
Via Sara Jane
When was the last time you praised yourself?
Yes, when was the last time you said “well done, you’re doing really well, you’ve done brilliantly today, I am so proud of you”.
When was the last time you did that? In your own words of course.
Have you ever done that? Because you should you know.
It is not about the praise you receive from outside of you, from other people groups, organisations etc.
It is about being proud of yourself, of your achievements, of what you have managed to do in a day, the experiences you’ve had, the way you have coped with them.
It is about loving yourself enough to say “you’ve done really well today”
Every day. Not just once in a while, all the time.
Even if you haven’t achieved as much as you had hoped in a day or in a period, still praise yourself.
Many of you work so much better, achieve so much more, when you feel appreciated, so appreciate yourself and you should appreciate you.
You can build your confidence without approval of others.
Care about yourself enough, at least at the end of every day, to say “you’ve done well today”, “you’ve done brilliantly”, “you have achieved so much today”.
The more you do that, the more you will be able to do and the better you will be able to do it.
You are an amazing being and it is really time that you started to realise that and to treat yourself as such.
I know many of us tell you “You are an amazing being”, it’s time you listened to that and realised that we’re not just saying it; we are saying it because you are, we can see it and we are hoping you will open your mind, your eyes, your ears, to just how amazing you are.
So, you are doing brilliantly, trust and believe that from me, from the Gremlins, even if you won’t believe it from yourself.
Take care, Be safe, Stay well Sweet Soul
Namaste
