Are you a follower or are you a leader?
A leader doesn’t necessarily mean that you are at the forefront of everything, many of the best leaders, lead from behind.
What does that mean?
For example, take a walk, if you are leading a walk and you have people who know the route, you become the one that stays with the slowest, to ensure that they are safe.
Because not everyone, works, walks at the same pace, not everyone learns at the same pace but with the right guidance, support, care, everyone can get to the finish line, whatever that is perceived to be for them.
So the best leaders support everyone, from those who find it very easy to those that may appear to be struggling but in fact once they have learnt something, they can absolutely outstrip those that have raced ahead.
I am sure most of you have heard the story, the Hare & the Tortoise, it isn’t always those that take off at great speed, that reach the finish line.
Some take a little longer to understand, your saying “get their head wrapped round it” and once they do, they can prove to be better than those who have gone racing off and appear to have got things so easily.
Maybe you are one of those people, be patient with yourself, understand how you learn best and let yourself do things they way that work for you and support your leaders, your guides, your trainers to understand, you will get there but that you don’t all learn the same way, with the same speed because you are all uniquely different.
On your world, you have now started to come up with terms, initials for those who are slower to learn. That does not mean that you are thick, stupid, whatever terminology you may have heard. It just means that you are different, you are wired differently.
And the greatest leaders understand that there is benefit in having a wide range of abilities, that way, they can get the best out of everyone.
So if you feel that you are just a follower and are just following on from everybody else, just doing what everybody else does, you’re not here to do that, you are here to be uniquely you and maybe in your own unique way you are here to teach others and that teaching may just be how to treat you because your uniqueness means that you think about things differently.
Maybe the box everybody else fits into, you don’t even have, it doesn’t exist for you and you can tap into things in the way others can’t.
Trust and believe in yourself. Be the unique Being that you are and you will bring the gifts that you are here to bring to the world.
