Families ~ Families are made up of Mother & Father, Sons & Daughters, Grandmothers & Grandfathers, Aunts & Uncles, Cousins, Brothers & Sisters, Nieces & Nephews and possibly a pet or two; cats, dogs, mice, hamsters, guinea pigs and so much more.
However small or large your family, it is your family, your treasure, your joy.
You may be a Mother & Daughter & Sister & Niece & Aunt & Cousin & Grandmother or a Father & Son & Brother & Nephew & Uncle, & Cousin & Grandfather. Yes you can be all of these at the same time depending on the size of your family.
Families are so important, every member including the pets. Everyone including you needs to know they are loved. It is so important to spend time together; whether it is playing in the park, a family barbeque in the back garden/yard or curled up on a sofa watching a film together.
Some of the most precious moments are when no words are being spoken; a child or pet that is so relaxed and content they fall asleep on your lap or in your arms. Just laughing and playing in the summer sunshine having water “fights”, splashing around in the sea or in a pool; in the winter having snowball “fights” or longs walks and jumping in muddy puddles. This is fun, this is letting go of what is going on in the world around you and just letting yourself Be, letting your inner child out to play.
Happiness is different things to different people but one of the greatest happiness’s you can have is your family. Spend more time with them, talking with them, listening to them, playing with them, just sitting with them, cuddling them.
Families are a gift that because they are there all of the time, you take them for granted. Make time for your family, to let them know you care, that you love being with them, that they are special.
Switch off the television, the computer, the electronic games; get a ball and kick it round the garden or park with them; get a Frisbee, a bat & ball or a mitt & ball; play board games or do a puzzle as a family. Bring laughter back into your home, your life, your being.
Share love; help nurture it in the younger members of the family. Teach them respect for themselves, each other, for school friends and neighbours; for your property and other peoples and for all animals.
You all have a right to be here; as people can be hurt and feel pain and distress so can animals.
Animals especially cats and dogs love unconditionally; they don’t care if you are small or large, short or tall, have 1 leg or 2, can walk or are in a wheelchair, can see, speak, hear or see. They are totally non judgemental as they know what is in your heart, the beauty of your soul. They look beyond the packaging to the special being that you truly are.
Let yourself love yourself as pets love you and allow yourself to love them, your family, friends, neighbours as unconditionally.
Where there is love, there is peace, happiness, laughter and joy. This is your birthright; it is yours for the giving.
Yes for the giving, as you give so shall you receive.
With unconditional Love, now and always
Your Magical Friend
