When was the last time you took time to yourself, to recharge your batteries, to rest, relax, unwind, have fun and laughter, enjoy something, anything that felt comfortable to you, without any stress or strain?

When was the last time you did anything for you, that helped you to recharge your batteries, to help you relax and unwind?

How do you do that, how do you recharge your batteries, relax and unwind?

That’s for you to answer but there are some suggestions here for you.

A walk in nature, some woodlands, by a stream, a river, a lake, by the seashore.

A walk in nature, with nature, just allowing yourself to see your surroundings, to be in your surroundings.

Be aware of the birds, their singing, the scurrying of a squirrel across the ground and then up a tree, the bird song, the buzzing of insects, the wind as it rustles the leaves.

Relax and let yourself become a part of your surroundings.

If you are on a shore, is it warm enough to take your shoes and socks off and paddle in the water, whether it is a lake or the sea or the ocean.

Let nature re-energies you.

If it isn’t so easy to get to places like that, listen to music, just sit and relax and listen to music, especially music with nature sounds in it, the sounds of a waterfall or lapping waves, of a river or a stream, the sounds of birds, the wind, the sound of a howling wolf.

Maybe you have a cat, relax to the purring sound of your cat.

Allow sound that is relaxing and calming, to re-energies you.

But Yes, by all means have something that has got more of a rhythm and a beat if you wish to dance and let yourself do that, let your body move to the sound of the music.

Feel your body start to come back to life.

If you have somewhere that you can put your feet on the earth, grounding you, let yourself do that.

Treat yourself to something that supports you to relax and unwind, to let go of the stresses and strains of the day, the week, the month, the year.

You are not here to be constantly doing, spend time Being with yourself.
