Palulukon

*In Hopi traditions of the American south-west the Palulukon is a water serpent. Like the Nagas of Asian tradition it is necessary to behave in tune with the environment, otherwise the Palulukons will cause the earth to move or stop springs flowing. In Hopi belief the whole world floats upon the backs of two Palulukons in the primordial ocean.

Are you living in tune with nature, your surroundings, with Mother Earth?

Do you take only what you need, use it to the fullest and always give back?

Do you re-use that which can be re-used? Do you compost? Do you re-cycle?

If you have a garden do you have areas for insects and other wild creatures?

Have you planted flowers for Bees and other insects?

Are there trees and bushes for birds to nest, ponds for frogs and newts, nesting areas for hedgehogs and more?

Your planet is very important to your survival; with every poison you put down your drains, you are poisoning your water, the life blood of your planet.

With all the pollution you pump into the air you are depleting the clear fresh oxygen that you breathe, that keeps your mind clear and your body functioning properly.

With ever poison you put in the ground or spray on plants, you are poisoning the earth and the food that is grown in it; you are poisoning yourself.

It is time to start working with nature, with the waters, air and earth that support life on your planet; your life and the life of all your family and friends.

Listen to the wisdom of the indigenous peoples, those who still work with and respect your Mother Earth; the Mother that feeds and cares for you All.

You may be just one person but for every one that truly starts to think about and act upon the affect they have on your planet and all its inhabitants, the changes start to ripple out.

Those ripples connect with other people’s ripples and slowly each one of you becomes part of a massive tsunami of change.

Yes as an individual you can make an enormous difference to your life, the life of those around you and to the planet as a whole.

You are Somebody, don’t leave it to others, lead the way, set the example for others to follow.

You Can Do It ~ Yes You Can

Think about what you are buying, especially your food; support the ethical growers, farmers, manufacturers and stop buying the poisons and polluted food stuffs, cleaning agents etc.

Support those who are opening up to producing non toxic substances for your cleaning, gardens and so much more.

Whatever the history of humans may be, you are living Now and by taking care of now, you are allowing and creating that there will be a future in which you will become an important part of a history of change that stopped the destruction of life.

Yes as you poison the waters, the air and the earth you are sealing the fate, the destruction of humankind.

It is time to be counted if you wish the peoples of Earth to survive as the caretakers of Earth.

Because “caretakers” is what you are and it is time to wake up to the destruction and devastation that humankind is causing; to the fact that you are failing miserably within your role as caretaker.
