Mythical Realm Banner

Thunder Bird

Clap ~ a clap of thunder or a round of applause; two very different meanings for the same word but both create sound.

Sounds can hurt and sounds can heal ~ think about the everyday sounds that surround you:-

The Dawn Chorus                             Laughter, talking, crying

Your alarm clock going off                 Voices

The boiling of a kettle                        Dogs barking

The buzzer of a timer                        Children laughing or screaming

Traffic as it rushes past                     The trickle of a stream

Songs & chatter of a radio DJ            The wind in the trees

Telephone or doorbell ringing             Birds singing

Your favourite music                           Silence

Sit and think for while about the sounds you hear every day; how does each make you feel?

You have favourite music and that can depend on your mood. Sometimes it is happy & lively, so that feel like dancing. Sometimes you just choose something gentle and relaxing, so that you can relax and unwind.

There are times when even your favourite sounds and music are uncomfortable; allow yourself to be in silence; allow your eyes to close and your mind to rest.

You can ask your mind to rest, to switch off; give it a break, give yourself a break.

Listen to your inner voice, to your heart; it is the wisdom that is your higher self.

At any given time, the wisdom is within you, to know what is right for you and when it is right for you.

Words can hurt and words can heal.

Let go of the hurt you feel from others words: words and especially the tone of voice used can be misinterpreted/misunderstood.

You may have heard this before but never be afraid to ask “did you mean what I heard” and repeat what you heard in your own words.

So many misunderstandings can be resolved if only you would all talk to each other, rather than let things fester.

You are an amazing being, a beautiful soul with so much to offer this world, that is why you are here.

Each of you brings to this time a precious gift “You”, allow yourself to let go of all the barriers and wrapping, and show this precious gift that is You to the world.

The gift you bring is unique and is essential for a perfect balance; share your gift.

Remember; be true to yourself, this is part of the gift you bring. Encourage others to be true to themselves, it is part of the gift they bring.

We understand that no one likes to hear “No” said to them but No is usually a greater gift to someone than Yes. It encourages them to learn, to grow, to discover their true self and talents.

No is not disrespectful, in most cases it can be the greatest gift you can give and receive.

Love yourself enough to say No. No can be the most precious gift someone can give you “New Opportunities”.

When you are told No turn round and look for the opening doors, stop banging on the closed door, there is something better waiting for you.

No is a gift, it is time to unwrap the opportunities it offers you.

Open to yourself and let yourself see what we see

You are Special and Unique

Your Loving Friend

Thunder Bird

You may have heard some of this before. We are repeating it because it is time to believe in You.
